Ledger Live is the official software application that allows you to set up and manage your Ledger hardware wallet. Here are the key steps to get started with Ledger Live:
Download and install Ledger Live on your desktop computer. You can download it directly from the Ledger website at ledger.com/ledger-live/download.
Connect your Ledger hardware wallet (Nano S, Nano S Plus, or Nano X) to your computer using the USB cable. Ledger Live will detect your device and guide you through the setup process.
During setup, you will create a PIN code to secure your device and write down your 24-word recovery phrase. This recovery phrase is crucial - it allows you to restore access to your crypto assets if you ever lose your device.
Once your device is set up, you can use Ledger Live to install apps for different cryptocurrencies, add accounts, receive, send, and manage your digital assets.4
